December 10th, 2010 Forecast

A little lake effect snow remains but is gradually diminishing. Skies will become clear overnight with extremely cold air expected tonight, with lows near 10 and near 0 up north. A weak disturbance will bring a light snowfall to the region for Friday, with not much snow accumulation. We finally get a break for Saturday from the snow until we have our big storm move our way. At this time, it looks like it will be mostly a rain event during the day Sunday, but there could be some major snowfall Sunday night. Lake effect snow will return for the start of finals week.


Tonight: Gradual clearing. Lows near 10, colder north. Calm wind


Friday/Friday Night: Light snow. Highs in the upper 20s. South wind 5-10mph


Saturday/Saturday Night: Cloudy during the day, then rain and snow overnight. Highs in the mid 30s.


Sunday: Rain, then heavy snow overnight. Highs in the mid 30s.
