Lake effect snow is back in the forecast for basically everyday this week. Significant accumulations are likely for the first half of the week. A lake effect snow warning is in effect until 4 PM Wednesday afternoon. My forecast for tonight is 2 to 5 inches of snow southeast of Lake Ontario with localized amounts of 6 inches or more. For tomorrow, I expect 4 to 8 inches of snow south and southeast of Lake Ontario.
