Lake effect snow has gradually lifted north out of the area thanks to the shift in the winds. A weak disturbance will bring some gradual snow showers to the area on Friday but will move out of the area. A large storm system will move up the east coast of Sunday, but it looks like just a general snowfall will come out of that system. Lake effect will set up again for the beginning of next week.


Tonight: Scattered snow showers after midnight. Lows in the mid teen. West wind around 5mph


Friday/Friday Night: Snow showers likely. Highs near 30. West wind 5-10mph.
